Creativity Booster: Do The Thing

Does creativity sometimes elude you? Have your creative juices ever run dry? Have you struggled with writer’s block or other creative blocks?

Well, the good news is that there are many ways to overcome these blocks and obstacles to creativity. And, wouldn’t you know, I happen to have a library of this good stuff and I just love sharing. And that’s exactly the kind of thing that I’ll be doing here on the blog too: sharing creativity boosters. So come back often to get more, k?

Let’s start with this simple creativity booster…

Do the thing you wanna do.

do the thing hand lettered croppedJust do it. Even if it’s not perfect, do it anyway. Otherwise you miss out and the world misses out. I have been living this lesson myself as I put the puzzle pieces of my freelance creative biz together. This here website, for example, is far from perfect but I’m going for it anyway. I’m not letting a little thing like layout or theme hold me back.

Take action.

Move forward.

You can always change it, change your mind, work on it more, try another way – you get the point – later.

Ok, so, dahling, what have you been umm-ing and ahh-ing about? What idea or project have you kept from the world? What are you going to go for?

I’d love to hear about it and cheer you on. And yes, I will cheer you on if you tell me about it 🙂 Comment below and tell me or tag me on Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest, #findyourdelight.

I also created a little something to help you with this. Just print and fill in the blanks. (Click on the image to grab the full size version)
